The site has been developing fast and furious... I'm working on a really great feature that I hope to have released in the next few weeks.

I think for the next few blog entries, I'm going to tell you, the readers, just what I have done with the site, how it is organized so you're able to find your way around without any trouble.

First of all, the heart of the site is the articles - about 80 or so I think. They are broken down into three general sections:

Everything to do with dog obedience and training. We cover subjects from basic puppy kindergarten to crate training and lots of stuff in between. If it has to do with your dog's behavior, you'll find it in here.

This library is filled with information regarding the health of your animal. Actually, in the past, this area of the site has been the most popular in terms article readership... There is an expansion of this library planned for the near future.

Dog Feeding And Nutrition - http://www.superk9.com/feed.asp
This library is filled with information about the feeding habits and nutrition of your dog. Because proper nutrition can affect both the behavior and the health of your canine, we try to give you as much practical useful knowledge about the topic as we can.

The Top 5 Ways That Super K9 Will Be Your "New" Best Friend

Dear Friends:

Well, after an 8 month hiatus, Superk9.com has been put back online again due to popular demand. However, instead of just putting everything back online and leaving it at that, we decided to upgrade the site, add lots of new features and change our identity a bit.

Whereas before we branded ourselves more of a directory, we have decided to change Super K9 to more closely match what our visitors have used it for - mainly a one stop informational site that they can come to for answers to dog obedience, nutrition and health related questions.

And so, our new mantra is: "A Comprehensive Online Resource To Help You Take Good Care Of Your Dog". Here are the five ways that we plan to be your best friend in the care of man's best friend.

1. Create A One-Stop Comprehensive Dog Resource Site
   Create a one-stop dog resource site. We plan on compiling a huge encyclopedia of dog related resource to truly give our visitors the information they need to make informed decisions concerning their canines.
   
2. Have A Team Of Dog Experts Ready To Answer Your Questions
   Collect a team of professionals in the different areas of the dog world to help moderate the forums. This will ensure that you will get access to the real the experts in the field.
   
3. Have Lots Of Contests and other opportunities to win things
   Contests have always been a big hit with the Super K9 membership. We plan to continue that style with great new contests that will make our visitors happier than pie!
   
4. Create A Vibrant Community
   I recently read that the Internet is not so much a collection of web pages and web sites but rather a collection of conversations - between customers and businesses, between friends from around the world, between people... One of the goals for this site is to allow myself and the Super K9 team to start a conversation with you. This site is meant to be a community of conversations between people interested in everything to do with dogs.

   I can't tell you this one yet, but watch for it. The visitors who get involved early are in for something great here.
